Frequently Asked Questions
What are Fabrick designs?
We've been printing for 10 years, mainly using screen printed lithographic transfers of the highest quality. These transfers contain a stretch layer so they move with the garment when worn and washed. We have many satisfied customers (read what our customers say
). These designs reflect subjects of interest such as Japanese influences, alternative culture, robots etc
How do I supply my Artwork?
For the best results please read the following information.
We will help with any problems that might arise, to achieve the very best results on your shirt. If you think you will require help with your image please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org
describing your problem.
Please note that If an image demands a lot of artwork changes, we may have to apply a moderate charge for this service. We'll advise by e-mail first if this is the case.
Image File Format
Your images should be saved in either .jpeg
file format. Images saved in the .gif
format are generally unsuitable for print reproduction.
Images should be 200dpi
or higher. Please note that although 72dpi images look OK on screen, they do not produce a good quality print. Pictures sourced from the internet are generally of poor quality and seldom good enough to reproduce on a t-shirt.
We require you to submit your artwork in CMYK
mode. If you can only give us RGB images we can convert them for you. This conversion is necessary and may sometimes lead to a very slight 'dimming' of colour. Please note that colour integrity depends on monitor settings which vary from monitor to monitor.
Vector images are not supported at this stage.
What's the difference - custom fonts and standard text?
Our custom fonts are pre-printed and have a retro feel to them in that we position them by hand and some are slightly textured. Most of the Cooper and Sports Block have a flock finish which gives them a slightly raised effect, the Flash fonts have a sparkly glitter finish and most of the others have a matt finish. These letters are fixed size and are most cost effective when your message is shorter rather than longer. For text of, say, paragraph length use the standard text tab in the 'Use Your Own Designs' shop. Here you can type in your text and enlarge or reduce as desired.
How long does it take?
All orders received by 11.00 am will be despatched the following day. For multiple orders you will be informed of the turnaround time at the point of ordering.
How do I wash my T-Shirt?
Turn inside out and wash at 30 degrees. Iron on the reverse of the print. Dry naturally. Do not dry clean.
How do I pay?
Customers can pay instantly and securely using PayPal. You can use any valid credit or debit card. You can also use your own PayPal account - if you have one.
